GREGORY is a MFA candidate at UNC Chapel Hill and a member of PlayMakers’ Repertory Company. He holds a BFA in Acting from Emerson College and served as the Producing Artistic Director of BCKSEET Productions from 2000-2011. He has performed in over 40 productions, directed 15 plays and musicals, and a guest artist at UVA, Temple University, and is teaching Drama 135 at UNC this year. He was the head of the Theatre Department at Colegio Interamericano in Guatemala and most recently at Boys' Latin of Philadelphia. While at Boys' Latin DeCandia developed and directed two documenry theatre about gun violence and violent teen flash mobs.
JEFFREY, a native of Los Angeles, California, has been an educator for the past 13 years in Boston, Los Angeles, and Milan, Italy. He earned his bachelors and masters degree from Emerson College in Boston, MA. While at Emerson, Jeff co-hosted a sports radio show and an internet-morning show. While working on his thesis, he co-hosted a political show on a Boston am station. Jeff has also produced and directed his own documentary, worked for ESPN's critically acclaimed “Sports Century”. As an interviewer and educator, Jeff has dialogued with individuals both in the U.S. and abroad, speaking with students from the inner city to former presidential candidate, Michael Dukakis.
(US Army, ’86-’93, Medic & Infantry Officer) STEPHAN received his MFA from Trinity Repertory Conservatory in Providence, RI. On Broadway, Stephan created and directed the military segments for Twyla Tharp & Billy Joel’s Tony-Award winning production Movin’ Out. He also co-created the largest touring Shakespeare Company in New England, directed and taught acting Shakespeare at Cornell University and at Antelope Valley College. Stephan is the Founding Artistic Director for the Veterans Center for the Performing Arts (V.C.P.A.). He is the Head of Outreach for Bedlam Theatre NYC, and is also the creator of DE-CRUIT: a program to reintegrate military Veterans using classical actor training. As an actor Stephan continues to perform his one-man show CRY HAVOC nationwide.
KATE holds an MFA from the University of Virginia, is a certified Yoga teacher, a Linklater Voicework Trainee, and a member of Actors' Equity. Kate performed and taught for nearly a decade in Philadelphia before recently relocating fulltime to NYC. In Philadelphia she worked with a variety of theatre companies including New Paradise Laboratories, Walnut Street Theatre, Luna Theatre Co., EgoPo Classic Theatre Co., Simpatico Theatre Project and Passage Theatre Co. In 2012, she became Artistic Director for BCKSEET Productions where she founded the education program, BCKSEET Ignition in 2007. BCKSEET produced two of her original musicals: Some Assembly Required in 2010 with an accompanying cast album, and ELFuego in 2012.
